A few words about Southwest Cycle Sport
Let us introduce ourselves
Welcome to Southwest CycleSport. We are located in the Westlake Hills area of Austin, on Bee Cave Road, 1 mile east of Hwy 71, easily accessible from the “Dam Loop”.
Our Story:
We are a family-owned business who sees every customer as a member of our Southwest CycleSport family. Jennifer started cycling in Dallas in 1985, then moved to New York City where she introduced Peter to the sport in 1987. Our favorite shops in New York and New Jersey were the small, family-owned shops who’s owners and employees knew us when we walked in. They knew our bikes, and we rode together. When we moved to west Austin in 2003 we looked for a back-East type shop and came up short. So we decided to open one ourselves. We have tried to keep that small-shop magic alive by providing personalized service and being engaged in our community. We pride ourselves on being a one-stop-shop: bikes and repair; information on local bike routes, trails, events and teams. Our customers can be confident that one of us will always be at the shop when they visit.
